“It is 9 months that Ukraine is fighting to liberate its areas from the occupation. During this period, we witnessed a completely different reality, the failures at the beginning of the war currently turned into such a reality that we are ready to win and able to win the war thanks to the Ukrainian army and people, our friends and partners,” said Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kraina to Azerbaijan, Vladislav Kanevsky in his interview with journalists, APA reports.

“The enemy tries to compensate for its defeat on the battlefield by firing at civilians. Peaceful cities and civil infrastructure are subjected to fire and imagine that since February 24 up to today 70 percent of missiles launched into the Ukrainian area targeted civilian infrastructure. The purpose of firing at Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is to scare the people, to deprive them of electricity, heat, and communication. In response to this, the enemy faces a completely different situation, the Ukrainian people and the world community are more closely united. I thank the friendly Azerbaijani people for such large-scale aid in this difficult war. Among them, we do not forget that thousands of tons of food products, medical equipment, and medical supplies saved the lives of many people in Ukraine.

Today, a humanitarian convoy full of critical cargo is leaving, including various power system equipment, transformers, and generators. These are intended for hospitals and other necessary facilities. It is a clear sample of the sincere friendship of Azerbaijan and we highly appreciate it.

We will never forget it. We are grateful to Azerbaijani leadership and people,” noted the ambassador.
