The United Kingdom applauds the conclusion of peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy said during his speech in Parliament on March 17, APA reports.
"Armenia and Azerbaijan have concluded negotiations on a historic peace agreement. We sincerely applaud this achievement and call on both sides to move to signing as soon as possible," David Lammy said.
Note that on March 13, the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Armenia issued a statement announcing the conclusion of negotiations on the draft of the Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
