The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has confirmed the approval of the draft agreement on peace and the establishment of interstate relations with Azerbaijan, as well as the completion of negotiations on this matter, said the Armenian MFA, APA reports.
The statement mentions that the Armenian MFA, through diplomatic channels, informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan that Armenia had accepted Azerbaijan's proposals regarding two unresolved articles in the draft agreement titled "Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
"Thus, the peace agreement is ready to be signed. Armenia is ready to consult with Azerbaijan on the timing and location of the signing of the document," the statement reads.
Recall that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated in his remarks to journalists today that the negotiation process on the text of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia has already been completed. He added that Armenia has now informed Azerbaijan that it has accepted the last two remaining articles.
