On November 25, the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Minister of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov, the Ministry of Justice told APA.
It was reported that Farid Ahmadov first of all conveyed the greetings of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Head of State of the UAE.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in turn, asked to convey his greetings and deep respect to the Head of State of Azerbaijan.
During the reception held in Abu Dhabi, it was noted that, thanks to the initiatives of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and the UAE, relations between the two countries are at the level of strategic partnership in all areas.
It was emphasized that cooperation is being carried out within the framework of agreements on mutual legal assistance and extradition in civil and commercial cases, as well as in criminal cases, signed between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries based on the agreements reached by the heads of state. It was noted that close cooperation in the field of justice contributes to the further expansion of relations between the countries.
During the conversation, it was noted that there are opportunities for further development of cooperation between the two countries in the legal and judicial fields.
