Türkiye's Vice-President: "White House should clarify Pelosi's statements"

"Statements made by the Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi during her visit to Armenia, which is not related to historical and actual facts, are completely far from good intentions, reflect a biased view and sabotage diplomatic efforts, are unacceptable," said Fuat Oktay, Vice-President of Türkiye, APA reports.

He noted that the White House must clarify whether the statements on the Karabakh issue by Pelosi and several politicians supported by the lobby, who turned a blind eye to the voices of the Armenian diaspora, reflect the official position of the US.

"I invite all international actors to act responsibly at a time when lasting peace and stability in the region are sorely needed. We will continue to stand by dear Azerbaijan that fights in order to liberate its Motherlands which unjustly were under occupation for 30 years," he noted.
