Turkish VP: Dear Azerbaijan is our important friend and ally

“We are ‘two states, one nation’ with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is our very important friend and ally," Türkiye’s Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said in a statement to journalists in Baku, APA reports.

He noted that political relations have developed at a high level and that economic relations are also increasing: ‘Today in Baku, we will also hold the 12th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. We have a very tight schedule. We will hold discussions to further develop these relations. We will both evaluate the work carried out so far and discuss new initiatives, and we will also sign a new protocol of the Azerbaijan–Türkiye Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation."
