On February 13, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov and Vice President of the Republic of Turkiye Fuat Oktay had a telephone conversation, APA reports citing the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers discussed the course of the elimination of the consequences of the strong earthquake that occurred in the southeast of Turkiye was discussed, and especially stressed that the Azerbaijani rescuers continued the search and rescue operations in the disaster areas without interruption.
FuatOktay once again expressed his deep gratitude to the fraternal state and people of Azerbaijan for the moral and humanitarian support provided to Turkiye from the first hours of the earthquake and for mobilizing all its capabilities to eliminate the consequences of this severe natural disaster and providing assistance to people facing difficulties.
