“Currently, we are pleased with the progress that dear Azerbaijan has achieved both in the region and beyond,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said at the military parade dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War, APA reports.
The Turkish President stated that Türkiye's exceptional relations with Azerbaijan continue to grow stronger every day through special and strategic projects: “Our collaborations, crowned by projects such as the Century Project — Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, Shah Deniz, and TANAP — have been further strengthened with the commissioning of the Igdir-Nakhchivan gas pipeline. Currently, we are working to further develop this cooperation and expand its areas of application. New routes to be built in the Caucasus will increase the capacity for energy transport and transmission. The Caspian-linked East-West Middle Corridor must be developed with investments for the welfare of everyone in the region. We will take steps together with Azerbaijan to better utilize the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line,” Erdoğan emphasized.
