“Armenia can be Western or Eastern oriented, we can not interfere with it. However, Azerbaijan and Turkiye are sincere in the issue of normalization, Armenia should also take sincere steps,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu while responding to the questions of the journalists after Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Turkmenistan summit, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
According to him, it is time to sign a peace agreement: “There is no need for tension and provocations anymore. As Turkiye, we appointed our special envoy. We made a gesture by opening our airspace and allowing cargo flights in coordination with Azerbaijan. There is no need to expect help from others. We should take effective steps for our peace and stability.”
