“After Azerbaijan’s Karabakh victory, an important opportunity emerged. Turkiye is also sincere in the issue of the normalization of relations,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in his interview with TVNET, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

“Of course, Armenia has traumas. We speak about the country and nation that considers the lands it has occupied for 30 years as its own. This war already ended, and from now on the support of the Armenian people to Pashinyan, means that they want peace, but the voices of those who do not want peace are louder. Armenia should understand that steps should be taken for lasting peace here.”

He added that the latest negotiations were more successful than the previous ones: “Azerbaijan and Armenia must sign a lasting peace agreement. There is an agreement based on 5 principles, it should be implemented.”
