Türkiye's Ministry of National Defense has shared a post marking the anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s passing, APA reports.
The post featured a quote from the National Leader stating, “Freedom and independence are the national wealth of every nation.”
“We commemorate with mercy and respect the 22nd anniversary of the death of Dear Azerbaijan’s National Leader, the late Heydar Aliyev.
We will pass on the late Aliyev’s words, ‘We are one nation, two states,’ as a legacy from generation to generation, and we will always continue to stand united and together with our Azerbaijani Turk brothers,” the statement said.
