We commemorate with mercy and respect our martyrs who lost their lives in the events that took place in brotherly Azerbaijan and went down in history as Black January, Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defense, said in a social media post, APA reports.
“We feel in our hearts the pain experienced by our Azerbaijani Turkish brothers, and once again emphasize that, as throughout history, today as well—both in good times and in difficult moments—we will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder under the principle of ‘One nation, two states.’ We have not forgotten, and we will not let it be forgotten,” the post reads.
