“As Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus, we are keen to assist Azerbaijan and Armenia,” a committee member Hakki Muftizade said in his remarks at the international conference entitled “Increasing national and global efforts to clarify the fate of missing persons”, APA reports.
He noted that their experience could help any country. “We must not forget that addressing the problem regarding the missing persons cannot be delayed. Because witnesses are getting old. Witnesses are our main helpers in defining the whereabouts of missing persons. Other countries’ support is also important in this regard. The next time I come, I hope I will be able to announce Azerbaijan as one of the sponsors supporting this work."
