Voting has started in the polling station established in the Consulate General of Türkiye in Ganja in connection with the second round of presidential and parliamentary elections, APA's local bureau reports.
Like everywhere else, the polling station was opened at the consulate in Ganja from 8 o'clock in the morning. Turkish citizens are coming to vote.
Recall that none of the presidential candidates received more than 50% of the votes in the elections held on May 14, so the second round of voting will be held on May 28.
Note that the voting in Azerbaijan for the second round of presidential elections in Türkiye is held on May 20-22. The voting process will take place in the buildings of the Consulates General in Ganja and in the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan, along with the Turkish Embassy in Baku. For the second round of elections, 4 boxes will be placed in the embassy on May 20, 4 on May 21, and 1 on May 22, when the voting process will begin.
