This week, Tobias Thyberg, Head of Eastern Europe and Central Asia Department at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, held productive meetings with his counterpart Mammad Talibov, as well as with Deputy Foreign Minister Fariz Rzayev, the Assistant to the President Mr. Hikmet Hajiyev, and the Representative of the President on Special Assignments, Mr. Elchin Amirbayov, APA reports, citing Swedish Embassy.
Discussions covered bilateral issues, the peace and normalization process with Armenia, as well as other regional developments of common interest.
During his visit, Mr. Thyberg also had useful exchanges with representatives of think tanks, civil society, and the Swedish business community.
