A statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Qasimi, made during an exclusive interview with ONA that Iran condemns the hanging of placards with slogans supporting the occupation of Karabakh caused a great resonance, ONA reports.
The statement was widely publicized not only in the Azerbaijani press, but also in the influential media bodies of Iran.
The statement of Bahram Gasimi, reflecting the official position of Iran in connection with the Armenian provocation, with reference to ONA was posted on the main page of the state agency İRNA.
Fars, Tasnimnews, ISNA, ILNA, Mehr and other popular media bodies of the neighboring country, also circulated this statement with reference to ONA.
No less well-known news portals, including “entekhab”, “bartarinha” and others published a statement referring to ONA.
It is worth noting that the official news site of the Iranian judicial system, mizanonline, also circulated Bahram Gasimi’s statement in an interview with ONA.
The statement was widely publicized with reference to ONA on various television channels and radio stations within the country.
At the same time, many foreign news agencies published a statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry with reference to ONA. Among them are the Anadolu Agency, Ulusal and others.
Today’s newspapers in Iran also published a statement by the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman with reference to ONA.

It should be noted that B. Gasimi stated that hanging several posters about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the "Ararat" sports complex in Armenian is an arbitrary step and unacceptable.
