“Perhaps that is why, and also thanks to the personal contacts we have built over the years, the Slovakia–Azerbaijan partnership appears to be a natural partnership and maintains a permanent character in any atmosphere," Slovak President Peter Pellegrini said during the official banquet held in Bratislava in honor of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
“We have always supported your territorial integrity and the sustainable, peaceful resolution of the conflict. The agreement signed in August is a great achievement that sends a strong message that ‘peace can be achieved’. This should be a source of inspiration for us in other parts of the world. When our energy supply is at risk, we can turn to you,” Peter Pellegrini said.
