A panel discussion “The future of media: The next steps for traditional media, with a focus on digital transformation” has been held as part of the Shusha Global Media Forum under the motto “New Media in the Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution”, APA reports.
In the panel discussion, the participants exchanged views on the changing trends in the production and consumption of media products, content, and investments in the media.
In her remarks at the panel, Canadian-born American journalist, television, documentary and debate producer Dana Wolfe said that it is important to adapt to innovations and changes in the media field and follow them.
She noted that the media are now closing their bureau departments in different parts of the world. This is due to both finance and digitization.
The American journalist added that if the content is aimed at business interests, it raises ethical questions.
