Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thinks that Russia’s activity in the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations has decreased due to objective reasons, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.
Pashinyan named the Ukrainian war as the reason for this in a briefing held today.
He stressed that Igor Khovayev, special representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations has not made new proposals.
However, Pashinyan emphasized that the discussions are necessary.
He also added that the Europe and US is active in this issue. Pashinyan highly appreciated their contribution to the process.
