Russia hopes that the Sochi summit will help progress toward achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Andrei Rudenko, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
"Russia hopes that the trilateral summit to be held in Sochi will help progress toward achieving peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia," said the Russian diplomat.
Notably, on October 31, at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan, will meet in a tripartite meeting.
According to information released by the Kremlin press service, Putin will meet separately with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
