"The second meeting of the regional cooperation platform in the "3+3" format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia - Russia, Turkiye, Iran) may take place in the coming months, said Denis Gonchar, director of the fourth department for CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in an interview with TASS, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
"Currently, work is being done on the organizational work related to holding the second meeting in the "3+3" format. We hope this will happen in the coming months. According to the request of all the participants, an invitation can be sent to Georgia as well," said the Russian MFA official.
The diplomat noted that the Russian side noted that the "3+3" regional platform is suitable for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the participating countries.
