Russian Foreign Ministry removed distortion on the Turkmenchay Agreement on the social network account of the ministry, APA reports.
Thus, the false information on the official social network page of the Russian Foreign Ministry was corrected and the word "Eastern Armenia" was removed.
Notably, on February 22, the official social network account of the Russian Foreign Ministry shared distorted information about the 1828 Turkmenchay Treaty. The mentioned agreement referred to the word "Eastern Armenia".
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement in this regard. Russia's Foreign Ministry called on to eliminate this distortion.
