According to him, cooperation between our countries has reached an unprecedented high level of strategic partnership and alliance.
The chairman of the Federation Council added that the presidents give special dynamics to the development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan.
In his speech, the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis emphasized that the relations between the two countries are characterized by stability and dynamism.
The meeting participants paid attention to the strengthening of the Russian-Azerbaijani contract-legal framework. The head of the Federation Council noted that last year was productive: "10 intergovernmental and inter-institutional agreements, including the Declaration on Allied Cooperation, were signed. "The opening of the Consulate General of Russia in Azerbaijan would be a clear appearance of the alliance," Matviyenko added.
