“The length of the road is 44 kilometers. Specialists from Russia’s railway sector walked along the road. It is possible to restore the road in approximately two years because the tunnels have not collapsed; a railway complex is required," the Russian Ambassador Mikhail Yevdokimov, who is on a visit to Zangilan with the diplomatic corps, told APA in response to a question about the Zangezur corridor.
According to him, who restores the road and how it is done is not the main issue.
“This road, in addition to strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, will also create conditions for the development of economic ties in the region. The main issue is to restore the road as soon as possible,” the ambassador said.
