Russia's position on the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations is clear and consistent, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
She emphasized that Russia's efforts are aimed at achieving lasting peace in the region and its prosperity.
Zakharova noted that as a result of the efforts of Russian President Vladimir Putin, it was possible to stop the bloodshed in Karabakh in 2020 and 2023.
"It is clear that the trilateral agreements have not lost their relevance. On the contrary, these agreements constitute the roadmap for the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. From our side, we are ready to help achieve a mutually beneficial solution, which is in the interests of the former only South Caucasus countries and their neighbors," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson concluded.
