Andrey Rudenko Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and European Union Special Representative for South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar have held a telephone conversation, according to the information of press service of Russian Foreign Ministry, APA reports.
During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed the escalation of the situation in certain parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Concern was expressed over the armed clashes.
The side stressed the importance of Baku and Yerevan showing restraint and resolving all problems through political and diplomatic means.
