Russia and Azerbaijan to hold meetings at different levels

“The history of Russian-Azerbaijan relations, history of relations between our people are long and deep. These relations have historical roots,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova at the briefing held today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.

“The formal side of these relations is diplomatic relations. Currently, it is the 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. We have prepared several important events together with our Azerbaijani counterparts. This event is exchange of official congratulatory letters, meetings at various levels. Special emphasis is given to the development of humanitarian and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Exhibitions, concerts have started in Russia within the framework of Azerbaijan days. The 30th anniversary of our diplomatic relations is taking place against the background of the signing of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan in Moscow on February 22. This document opens new opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in all directions in the future,” noted MFA official.
