Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that a declaration on allied cooperation with Azerbaijan would be signed on February 22, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing the press service of the Kremlin.
“Today we will sign the Declaration on Allied Interaction. This, quite obviously, is a new stage in the development of our relations, and, of course, this became possible, including after reaching the issue of the Karabakh settlement, which has not yet been fully resolved in general, but advanced in its solution," the head of the Russian state noted.
Putin added that Ilham Aliyev's visit is taking place on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Baku.
