Provocation committed against Azerbaijan on DumaTV, covering activity of Russian Parliament

A provocation has been committed against Azerbaijan on Duma TV which covers activity of the Russian State Duma, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.

After the statement of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on return of the city of Lachin, Sus and Zabukh villages, which were under temporary control of Russian Peacekeeping Forces, under control of Azerbaijan, station of Azerbaijani Army in Lachin today, a statement of a military historian, politician Nikita Buranov entitled "Azerbaijani Army has been stationed in Nagorno-Karabakh" has been released on Duma TV.

An anti-Azerbaijani position has been reflected in the statement, which was in an audio recording format, from beginning until the end. Thus, so-called "military historian" and "politician" N. Buranov has noted Azerbaijan's occupation Karabakh, which is its eternal territory, by military force and expressed his regret: "Azerbaijan has always clearly declared its purpose, has never hidden its purpose of occupying Karabakh. Unfortunately, recent occurrences show and prove that Azerbaijan will achieve it in a military way without exception. They hope for resolution of the issue by military ways without exception. Even the Russian peacekeepers, deployed there, do not have enough power. Its reason is that they do have not heavy weapons. As we see, the Azerbaijani side does not prepare for any compromise, and tries to get full control of the so-called "Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh"."

So-called "politician" has gone ahead further and compared the situation in Karabakh with the situation of Armenians in World War I, said that Azerbaijan does not want to reconcile with Armenia's existence, wants a corridor to Nakhchivan, and agreed with Kazakhstan.

Russian “historian” claimed that all of these are a part of “Great Turan” idea. Buranov stated that what happened are first of all are a serious challenge to Russia’s security.

“Political scientist” called the special service structures of his country to pay special attention to Turkish regions, although there is a problem of Ukraine.

Broadcasting material against Azerbaijan on TV of the Russian Parliament contradicts strategic partnership and alliance relations between the two countries. The intention of such so-called “political scientists” and “military historians” financed by Armenian diaspora, to inflict a blow on kind neighborhood relations between Azerbaijan and Russia is not surprising. However, broadcasting information against of the state position of the Russian Federation in the TV channel of the Duma- Parliament, one of the management wings of the Russian state is surprising and regrettable.

Therefore, we want to remind the editorial staff of Duma TV of one of the quotes from the interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin with “Rossiya 1” TV during the Second Karabakh war, and in the period after that: “Karabakh has always been Azerbaijan’s integral part. Azerbaijan has taken back the lands that it and the whole world community consider to be the territory of Azerbaijan.”
