Press: Eyes are set on Baku-Yerevan peace talks to open Turkiye-Armenia borders

The negotiation process between Turkiye and Armenia is progressing in a positive direction, said SABAH newspaper citing the Turkish diplomatic sources, APA reports.

According to the publication, eyes are set on the Baku-Yerevan peace talks for the opening of the Turkiye-Armenia borders.

Diplomatic sources claimed that if a final peace agreement is signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia, it will benefit the entire region.

The publication also noted that the next meeting between the special representatives would be held in Turkiye.

Diplomatic sources have also announced that cross-border trade between Türkiye and Armenia may start soon.

According to the newspaper, diplomatic sources have drawn attention to the conduction of Turkish-Armenian and Azerbaijani-Armenian negotiations in a coordinated manner. Thus, it has been emphasized that delays and progress in Azerbaijani-Armenian dialogue impact Turkish-Armenian negotiations in the same way.
