Presidential aide: Azerbaijan conducts multifaceted cooperation within OTS

The Turkic world comes together today, said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, on November 24 at the Solidarity Forum of NGOs from the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States held in Baku on November 24, APA reports.

“Bringing together non-governmental organizations and civil society institutions, which are an essential component and driving force of interpersonal contacts, lays the foundation of this cooperation and creates a solid ground for further activities,” he said.

He added that Azerbaijan has multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States:

“There are various formats bringing together state organizations across 34 directions, but a format uniting non-governmental organizations did not exist until now. Today, we can say with great satisfaction that the foundation of this format is being laid together with NGOs and civil society organizations, which are an essential component and driving force of interpersonal contacts, bringing the Turkic world together,” Hikmat Hajiyev said.
