"A chance for lasting peace emerged in the region after many years of paying high prices. We sincerely expect Armenia to appreciate this historic opportunity," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with journalists while returning from Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"There is no doubt that the progress in Azerbaijan-Armenia discussions will positively contribute to the normalization process between Turkiye and Armenia. We are determined to further strengthen our cooperation with brother Azerbaijan in every field under the motto "one nation, two states." I wish my visit to be beneficial not only in terms of bilateral relations but also for our entire region,” Erdogan said.
