"A positive progress has been made between Azerbaijan and Georgia regarding the "Keshikchidagh" issue," Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze told journalists following the hearing held at the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
He stressed that this issue will definitely be resolved in accordance with strategic partnership and friendship.
Zurab Pataradze noted that the border commissions of the two countries are working on the issue and the session of the commission was held before the pandemic.
"Regarding Davit Gareji (Keshikchidagh - ed.), I want to tell you that this is a living process. You know that commissions are working in this regard. The session was held before the pandemic. This work will definitely continue and believe me, this issue will definitely be resolved in a way that suits the two friendly strategic partner countries. There will definitely be a result. We have a positive result, which I cannot announce now," the diplomat stated.
