“Azerbaijan is located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, and it possesses rich energy resources,” said Slovak President Peter Pellegrini during a joint statement to the press with President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Slovakia reports.
The Slovak President noted that trade turnover between the two countries is increasing: “This has raised our relations to a higher level. Slovakia and Azerbaijan will cooperate even more closely in the future — in the defense industry, culture, tourism, student exchange, and other areas.”
