The bridge "Puente Villena Rey", located in the Miraflores district, which is the main historical and cultural area of the capital of Peru, Lima, was lit with the colors of the State Flag of Azerbaijan on May 28 on the occasion of Independence Day, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico told APA.
The inscription "Azerbaijan - Independence Day" is also displayed on the bridge.
Note that the bridge, a symbol of friendship and love, connects the two central districts of the Peruvian capital, Miraflores and Barranco.
The bridge, covered with the colors of the Azerbaijani flag, attracted the attention of both residents and foreign tourists throughout the night.
