Documents have been presented to persons who are believed to be citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan living illegally or without documents in Türkiye since the 1990s, including their family members who were born in Türkiye, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.

In this regard, an official ceremony was held at the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul.

Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other relevant institutions participated in the event.
