Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reaffirmed Armenia's readiness to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan in a joint press statement with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana, APA reports.
"Kazakhstan is very important for us, because in Almaty we had the opportunity to hold meetings between our Foreign Minister and the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan. This means a lot for us. It is no secret that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is based on the Almaty Declaration, which has concrete political significance and symbolism. I am very glad that, as a result of my official visit, relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan have risen to the level of a strategic partnership. This means a new level of development of our interaction in the region," the Armenian Prime Minister said.
