Pashinyan informed Iranian President about Brussels meeting

"Iran supports progress in peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan," said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during the phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

He noted that Iran supports the solution of problems in the region in accordance with the cooperation, mutual respect and common interests of the countries of the region.

He stressed that Iran considers Armenia a friendly, close country and attaches importance to the neighborhood with Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan said his country was interested in developing economic, political and cultural ties with Iran.

Pashinyan briefed the Iranian President on the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He stressed the need to hold a meeting of "3 + 3" countries in Tehran as soon as possible.
