Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova and the participants of the International Parliamentary Conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan visited the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs, APA reports.
Among the visitors were Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Valdislav Tatarinovich, Chairman of the Assembly of Representatives of the Parliament of Tajikistan Fayzali Idizoda, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Romania Mircea Abrudean, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Cambodia Sot Vong, and other participants of the International Parliamentary Conference.
The guests first laid a wreath at the grave of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and paid deep respect to his memory.
Then they visited the Alley of Martyrs, laid flowers at the graves of the martyrs, and placed a wreath in front of the “Eternal Flame” monument, honoring the memory of the martyrs.
Sahiba Gafarova also acquainted the guests with the view of our city.
In the end, the guests went to the Milli Majlis in connection with the holding of the International Parliamentary Conference.
