Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has condemned the so-called "presidential election" held in the territories controlled by illegal Armenian forces in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Pakistan's MFA declared that Karabakh is the sovereign territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
"We condemn legally and morally any attempt to hold any so-called elections by the illegally established regime. Such an attempt is also a gross violation of the UN Charter and established principles of international law," the Ministry noted.
