Pakistan Senate chairman praises President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership in strengthening constitutional order and national unity in Azerbaijan

Under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, constitutional order and national unity have been established in Azerbaijan, said the Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani, at the international parliamentary conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani noted that we currently live in a world full of complex challenges:

“We must ensure the unity and justice of people and nations. Authorities in states must be fully accountable to the people. Under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, constitutional order and national unity have been established in Azerbaijan, leading to the country’s progress. The founder of a society based on territorial integrity was Heydar Aliyev. Ilham Aliyev’s decision to declare this year in Azerbaijan as the ‘Year of Constitution and Sovereignty’ is an example of commitment to values.”

The Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan noted that sovereignty today faces challenges: “Global crises are spreading worldwide and creating new challenges. Let us advance together on the principles of sovereignty and equality. Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye — three states, one nation!”
