OTS Foreign Ministers discussed Azerbaijani-Armenian normalization process

"Our leaders took important steps on our unity in the historical Summit in Istanbul last year," said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu at the press conference on the results of the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.

Cavusoglu has noted that both preparations for the Summit of leaders, scheduled for November 11 in Samarkand, and current issues on the table have been discussed at the meeting.

"Our solidarity has strengthened during our chairmanship. As it is clear to you, known incidents occurred in Kazakhstan and we stood by our brotherly country and people... We have also discussed what happened in Ukraine, Central Asia, and the Caucasus... We have discussed peace opportunity, which appeared after Azerbaijan's Karabakh Victory as well," he added.

Turkish FM has stated that the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States will be held on November 10 in Samarkand.
