"Relevant steps are currently expected to be taken in Armenia regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and the removal of territorial claims against Azerbaijan from the Armenian Constitution," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, APA reports.
The minister noted that the persistence of revanchist tendencies in Armenia, as a source of tension in the region, remains a serious concern: "Armenia’s rapid militarization continues to pose a threat. When we speak of revanchist tendencies, I would like to highlight the recent incidents of burning Azerbaijani and Turkish flags. Unfortunately, a similar incident occurred yesterday in France. We expect the relevant authorities of these countries to take serious steps to classify the burning of another nation’s symbols as a criminal act."
