Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has condemned the burning of Azerbaijani and Turkish flags during a torchlight procession in Yerevan dedicated to the memory of the so-called "Armenian genocide" victims, the Prime Minister's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said, APA reports.
According to her, Pashinyan called it a provocation.
"Prime Minister Pashinyan condemns such practice and considers it irresponsible and unacceptable. A head of state cannot view the burning of internationally recognized state flags—especially those of neighboring countries—any differently. This is a provocative and inflammatory act," Baghdasaryan noted.
