Numan Kurtulmuş: Sacrifice of January 20 martyrs will live in memory as a symbol of Azerbaijan's independence

The sacrifice of the martyrs of January 20 will live forever in our memories as one of the strongest manifestations of the will for independence of the Azerbaijani people, said Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş in his post regarding the January 20 tragedy, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports.

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye stated that Azerbaijan and Türkiye will continue to fight shoulder to shoulder, as they have historically done:

"We commemorate the martyrs of January 20 with deep respect and compassion. Their sacrifice will live forever in our memories as one of the strongest manifestations of the will for independence of the Azerbaijani people.

We will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with brotherly Azerbaijan in joy and sorrow with the concept of "One nation, Two states" and to further strengthen our brotherhood," Numan Kurtulmuş noted.
