"The US will support diplomatic efforts for normalization in the South Caucasus," it was stated in the new National Security Strategy of the Biden-Harris administration, APA reports.
The new strategy states that the United States will work to strengthen the stability and sustainability of other democracies, as it supports Ukraine.
"We will support the European integration of Georgia and Moldova and their commitment to important institutional reforms. We will help our partners get stronger. We will help strengthen democratic institutions, the rule of law, and economic development in the Western Balkans. We will support diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict in the South Caucasus," the document says.
The National Security Strategy also states that the US will continue contacts with Türkiye to strengthen its strategic, political, economic, and institutional relations with the West.
