The delegation of the New Caledonian Congress got acquainted with the Baku office of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, APA reports.
First, the guests were given detailed information about the organization's main activities, projects implemented, including set goals.
Reported that the Non-Aligned Movement supported the initiative of holding the XVIII Summit of Heads of State and Government of NAM member countries in Baku on October 25-26, 2019, as well as the organization of the first Youth Summit of the Movement separately as an additional event from the Baku Summit of the NaM, which took place on October 24-25, 2019.
At the same time, the movement's proposal to create a Youth Network was welcomed at that ceremony.
This organization was established for the first time in the history of the Non-Aligned Movement on the basis of the Youth Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was established on the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, within the framework of the Youth Summit held on July 25-29.
Within the framework of the Shusha session of the summit, the charter, logo and flag of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, whose permanent secretariat will be located in Baku, were approved.
