Montenegro plans to become an EU member in 2028

“Montenegro plans to become an EU member in 2028,” said Ervin Ibrahimović, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, APA reports.

The minister noted that he believes their friends from Brussels will properly appreciate Montenegro’s efforts: “Our goal is to become a full member of the EU in 2028.”
