Last month, the amount of money transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia amounted to 3.57 million US dollars, APA's local bureau reports, citing the report of the National Bank of Georgia.
This indicator increased by 5% compared to the month, and decreased by 9.57% compared to the same period last year.
In October, Azerbaijan's share in total money transfers from abroad to Georgia was 1.12%.
6.95 million US dollars were sent from Georgia to Azerbaijan, which is 49.4% more than in the previous year.
In January-October of this year, money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia amounted to 33.7 million US dollars, and in the opposite direction, 53.2 million US dollars.
