Heydar Aliyev played a great role in the successful development of Azerbaijan, said Deputy Chairman of House of Representatives of Belarus Valery Mitskevich at the special meeting of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (Parliament) dedicated to 100th anniversary of National Leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
Valery Mitskevich stressed that Heydar Aliyev has an exceptional role in the development of Belarus-Azerbaijan relations: "Today I want to mention the relations between the presidents of Belarus and Azerbaijan. A worthy follower of Heydar Aliyev's course, President Ilham Aliyev proved to be a great friend of Belarus. Heydar Aliyev's life path is a benchmark for all of us".
